I run finance, HR and recruiting, and operations inside early-stage companies, which mostly means I take the pile that has no owner and give every piece of it a name and a date. I've done it as a COO through a product pivot and an acquisition, and as VP of Operations at a defense services company where the payroll and compliance infrastructure had to be right the first time.
